California and the Dirksen Federal Building; he appeals cases before the Seventh Circuit and the Illinois Appellate Courts. In addition to helping people accused of crimes, Mr. Kamin handles cases involving police brutality and wrongful conviction.

Coexisting with his private practice are Mr. Kamin's pro bono activities.
